Fee Schedule
(Covering the Brisbane Area and up to 1 hour travel time)
Upon contacting Transition Support Birth and Beyond, an obligation free initial interview will be scheduled. Our Doula's first meet with you in a neutral setting of your choosing. Either a park, cafe or any other suitable public space. At the conclusion of the interview, you will be given 24 hours to discuss with your partner and family whether the Doula is right for you. Below are the packages and services offered.
A $150 non-refundable payment is due at the time of booking your doula. As you can appreciate, once your Due Date is locked in, the doula has blocked out her services specifically for your birth for two weeks either side of your due date.
The remainder of the fee can be paid in installments and is due two weeks prior to your due date. All other birth service fees (ie: photography, encapsulation etc) are also due on this date.
Payments for all other services (psychological counselling, post-partum support, parenting support, blessing ways, placenta encapsulation and other photography) is due at the time of the service.
Birth Support:
All packages are inclusive of email contact throughout entire pregnancy (for any issues you want clarified), phone contact 24hrs per day during the “on-call” period (commencing two weeks before your due date), and phone contact 24hrs per day in the first 3 weeks of baby being home.
•$850: One pre-natal visit, the entire labour and one post-partum visit
•$999: Two pre-natal visits, the entire labour and 2 post-partum visits
•$1200: Three pre-natal visits, the entire labour and 3 post-partum visits
Post-Partum and Breastfeeding Support:
Baby aged 6 weeks to 6 months:
# 2 hours: $80
#4 hours: $145
# Half a day: $250(6am to 1pm) or (1pm to 8pm)
# Overnight: $380 (7pm to 7am)
Psychological counselling:
(includes Peri/Anti -Natal support):
$60 per hour (no medicare rebate available)
Blessing Way:
(an alternative to a Baby Shower):
$220: Entire set up and hosting (two hours). (Please email for more information)
Placenta Encapsulation:
$195: as an extension to the Doula Service.
$220: if placenta is dropped off and encapsulation is collected from Transition Support Birth and Beyond.
$250: if collection and drop off is required.
Parenting Support
(child aged 6mths and beyond):
$40 per hour
Photography:
I do photography as a hobby. I have photographed friends and family during pregnancy and have photographed newborns. I have also had the privilege to photograph the labours of two clients.
- I can photograph your labour/birth for an extra $100 (but supporting you comes first). You will get all the images on a USB stick.
- Newborn and pregnancy photography is $150 and you get all your images on a USB stick.
